DNI Tango Holiday Crete

Join us for a personal spectacular summer holiday with tangodancing, great food, cretan beaches and fun, together with tangodancers and great inspiring tango teachers from DNI Buenos Aires/Stockholm.

The DNI Tango Holiday runs for 7 days and includes:
- 10 classes (morning and evening)
- 4 milongitos + 1 grand milonga with show with the maestros
- 7 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 6 dinners
- 1 organized excursion
- 1 "free" day
- babysitter during classes (ages 6+)


About the teachers:

We are Sara and Juan Pablo, dancers, teachers and directors of DNI Tango Stockholm.

We were working at DNI Tango School in Buenos Aires for 6 years, together with Dana Frigoli and DNI Tango Company.

We are now very happy to have the possibility to share and bring our experience here to Europe, the energy and passion of tango that we take with us from Argentina.

Sara has a long dance education in Sweden, and chose to move to Argentina to study tango, that she fell in love with, and very soon she entered to DNI Tango School and Company.

Juan Pablo, or Juampi, started dance tango in the dance company “Pasion y Tango” in the north of Argentina, Jujuy. He larer moved to Buenos Aires to improve his tango skills and be part of DNI Tango School and Company.

In the DNI Tango Summer Holiday we want to combine all the things that we love; beaches, sun, friends, good food and of course tango.

We are preparing the classes for this event, according to the people who will be there, what they need and what they like, working with the technique TTC (Tango Tecnología Conceptual) created by Dana Frigoli.

Our goal in the classes is comfort in the dance, connection with your partner, body conscience to create a movement, and of course to have a lot of fun.


About the venue:

PLAKIAS, SOUDA BAY- CRETE
RESIDENZA VOUKELARI, TAVERNA & STUDIOS

Athanasia (also a tango dancer) and Stelios will look after us during our stay. The meals served will be something extraordinary. The dance floor is overlooking the sea and Souda Beach (2 minute walk) with two restaurants for lunch possibilities. Walking into Plakias takes about 30 minutes, there are great restaurants and very cosy evening atmosphere. Here you also can take dayboats excursions from the harbour. We will be happy to inform you of other things to see and do during your stay.


How to get there:

There are direct flights from numerous european cities with airlines like Norwegian, Ryan air, Easy jet and Aegean airlines flies from all european airports via Athens. We will be glad to help you organise your trip to Plakias.
