1st Cappadocia Tango Marathon

You are invited to a very special tango marathon, to be held for the first time this summer (July 18th-22nd 2019) in one of the most special places not only in Turkey, but in the whole world: the beautiful Cappadocia!

The Marathon will feature three evening milongas, two afternoon milongas and a pre-party milonga on the first day and will take place at the Perrisia Hotel, one of the biggest hotels in Cappadocia.
The hotel has a closed and an open pool, a Spa center and a beautiful spacious salon, where we will dance.

For this first issue of the Cappadocia Tango Marathon, we are planning to have around 150 participants.

Thursday, July 18th
12:00 Check-in for marathon participants coming a day earlier to join the Ancient City Tour on Friday
12:00-18:00 Free time (Cappadocia city center is within a walking distance and has great cafes, shopping places, etc.)
18:00-21:00 Dinner in the city center*
22:00-03:00 Pre-party at the Perrisia Hotel

12:00-18:00 Ancient City Tour* (not mandatory) / Or simply enjoy the pool
22:00-05:00 Milonga

Saturday, July 20th:
06:00-10:00 Balloon Tour* (not mandatory): Saturday early morning, after the milonga
12:00 - 16:00 Relaxation/Pool time
16:00-20:00 Afternoon Milonga

Sunday, July 21st:

Hot air balloon tour (140 euros - 1 hour)
Ancient Underground-City Tour (30 euros - 5 hours including underground city and historical areas)
Lunch (10 euros - 1 lunch price - Lunch will be open buffet if there are at least 30 people, otherwise there will be a fix menu of soup, main course, one non-alcoholic drink, dessert or fruit plate.)

HOW TO REACH CAPPADOCIA:
- There are many domestic flights from Istanbul, Izmir and Antalya to Nevsehir and Kayseri Airports which are close to Cappadocia. You can simply take a shuttle from these airports to the hotel. We will arrange the shuttle for participants.

Also, we will arrange transfer from Ankara to Cappadocia. So if you plan to land Ankara, please let us know.

Moreover, check direct international flights to Kayseri or Nevsehir airports as there are several of them in summer time
