Riga winter tango marathon

Winter is coming. The new season for a close embrace tango legion.
Dancers from the East, West, South and North will bond together on February 1-4, 2019, in Riga (Latvia) at Riga Winter Tango Marathon.

At the marathon, we emphasize the traditional social tango etiquette, dance by following the ronda flow, invitations by mirada and cabeceo and the clear floor during cortinas. This marathon is a gender balanced event without separate seating for men and women.

The dancing and living will take place at the same spot – at the 4 star superior hotel Bellevue Park Hotel Riga:
We offer 300 sq. m. hall with wooden dance floor cover, ceiling height is up to 4 m, air conditioning.
The number of participants is 250.
The full pass of the marathon is 65 euro = 40 hours of tango at the 4 stars venue. Water, tea and cookies are included to milonga pass. Food will be provided by the hotel's restaurant with special prices.
And of course, at the pre-party and after-party, will come together both marathon participants and other dancers. Pre-party and after-party are not included in the full-pass

To keep you warm and happy, we are thinking carefully about the atmosphere at our event. Therefore, we care about the gender balance and friendly attitude at the dance floor. While registering the participants, we will take it into account.
