Join us 21-23 February 23, 2019 for three days and nights of dancing to best of modern tango music.

This thrilling media spectacle will be set in one of the historic clubs that gave birth to contemporary tango, the bohemian tango club, La Catedral, set in the amazing Almagro barrio of Buenos Aires.

If you stay for a week or two, this will be an opportunity to combine your love for neotango with an experience of tango history.The Buenos Aires offers a unique opportunity of tango in all its forms, from the folkloric to the latest rap tango. After the marathon, we can arrange a tour of the clubs in Buenos Aires. Or if you prefer, maybe you might like to spend a winter holiday on the beach at Punta del Este. There are many possibilities. We will be glad to assist you in making this a perfect vacation.

The marathon has assembled an amazing line-up musical entertainment for your dancing pleasure.

THE WORKSHOPS:

There are two classrooms adjoining the main ballroom. One hour classes and workshops will scheduled in these rooms. If time slots are available, attendees may reserve the rooms to give classes or workshops on whatever subjects they desire.

DNI, CETBA and other Buenos Aires dance schools have been invited to teach at the marathon, in addition to La Cathedral's compliment of dance instructors. The schedule for the classrooms will be posted on the door and updated regularly.

Accomodations are not included in the marathon fees. There is a large variety possibilites available in the Amalgro barrio, ranging from 5-star hotels to dormitory hostels. An extensive list of these offerings is available on our website, and we are available to assist you in finding an appropriate place.

For convenience, all prices are stated in Euros. However, payment in most currencies is acceptable. Specifically, on-line payments may be in Euros or US Dollars. Purchases at the entrance, during the marathon, must be in Argentine Pesos (ARS).
