I have registered for this festival and cannot wait until June. I love the idea of this festival being hosted in a different country every year, making new friends and meeting up with old friends, experiencing different cultures and of course Tango. Don't miss out fellow Tangueros, register today, workshop space is limited.

Caras de Tango is a wonderful idea and concept. I have been traveling for participating in different tango festivals, marathons, encuentros e.t.c., for last 6 years both in USA as well as in Europe. I have been to Austin (TX), Houston (TX), Seattle (WA), Portland (OR), Los Angeles (CA), San Francisco (CA), San Juan (Puerto Rico), Tampa (FL), Denver (CO), Boulder (CO), Philadelphia (PA), Washington, D.C., Santa Fe (NM), Orange County (CA), in the U.S., and in Stockholm (Sweden), Budapest (Hungary), Gothenberg (Sweden), Copenhagen (Denmark), Berlin (Germany), Athens (Greece), Belgrade (Serbia), Lisbon (Portugal), Poreč (Croatia), in Europe. While I always had great time, dancing with every single one of the people in each of those places, for which I feel I am blessed, however, one of the most blatant facts, that came to my notice, is that, there is a BIG disconnect between the dancers of North America and Europe. Whenever I am dancing in some part of North America, I see familiar faces of people from USA, Canada, and sometimes from Central and/or South America, but rarely from Europe, and very few people here know there ones from Europe, while, when dancing in Europe, I have the same experience in the other direction. While I agree that the two continents are separated by the Atlantic ocean, but, in the 21st century, crossing that barrier is a child's play. What we really need is something like Caras de Tango, that bridges that gap. Because, I strongly believe, that we all, Argentine tango dancers, instructors, performers, musiciabs, and aficionados from all over the world, be it North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, Australia, New Zealand, and even Antarctica, we're all members of ONE BIG family, without any border, and I really want to see us to know each other, dance with each other, and connect with each other. My heartiest wishes for Caras de Tango for this great job it's set out to do and I am looking forward to it with a lot of excitement.

Dear Sambuddha, this is exactly the idea behind Caras de Tango….to get these two tango communities closer and closer by switching each year the host city. We know this means harder work to arrange but we want to make somenthing really new. Thank you for your words.

The concept of Caras de Tango is a brilliant one. We all live in a small world & have developed lasting friendships across the seas & oceans. The love of tango knows no boundaries.

We’re very excited to travel from Los Angeles for our first Tango Caras. Our friends from Canada and Italy suggested we all meet in Torino for the festival and we can’t wait to see everyone for more wonderful tandas!

I am so looking forward to attend this 1st Caras de Tango festival !! I believe that the concept for this project is brilliant and a wonderful opportunity to continue building and integrating
our tango community internationally. We do need this kind of opportunities so much so we can
continue growing and learning culturally from each other. I just completed my registration and it was easy and fast. Thank you Mario and the organizers for the creation of this event and for all your support, can't wait to be there !!

Dear Cecilia, every single person should continue to discover and learn from other cultures all around. It's our source of inspiration. See you soon! Hugs!
