Tromso Tango Meeting Northern Lights Edition

Dance tango in the capital of the Northern Lights - Tromsø in Northern Norway. Join the only tango event in the world that gives you a chance to see Aurora Borealis and dance all in one weekend!

With a bit of luck you may see the northern lights walking to and from or even during the Milongas :) 

We offer Milongas, Workshops and Northern Light chasing tours. We have space for about 15 couples on the Workshops and about 100 dancers on the Milongas.

The Milongas (Fri-Sun) will make for 20 hours of dancing. Fruit, snacks, tea and coffee will be available during all the milongas. We will also serve soup around 10/11 pm during the evening milongas on Friday and Saturday.

The Workshops will be taught by an Argentinian dancer Diego Denett. There will be one tango workshop every day Fri, Sat&Sun, and one chacarera workshop. 

Tromsø is a popular tourist destination so there are plenty of flight options including some direct routes. The airport is 10min bus ride from the city centre. 

There is a shared accommodation option in wooden cabins, 4 persons per cabin, private bathroom and mini kitchen in each cabin. The cabins are 10min walk to the Milongas venue and 30min walk to the city centre. Price per person/per night 450-600 NOK (45-60 Euro).

Milongas (20 hours dancing, 2 night soups, coffee, fruit and snacks): 800 NOK (ca 81 Euro)

8 hour Northern Lights Chase: 1100 NOK (ca 112 Euro)

6 hour Fjord Sightseeing Tour: 900 NOK (ca 92 Euro)

Workshops package (3 x 1,5 hour): 600 NOK (ca 61 Euro), single workshops - if there is space left 250 NOK (ca 20 Euro)
