Encuentro Milonguero San Francisco Bay Area 2018!

Encuentro Organizers and Hosts Jonathan Yamauchi and Olivia Levitt are pleased to announce Encuentro Milonguero San Francisco Bay Area 2018! formerly, Encuentro Milonguero Berkeley.

Encuentro Milonguero SF 2018! is Jonathan and Olivia's 4th Annual National Invitational role-balanced Encuentro for advanced level milonguero style dancers.

Encuentro Milonguero San Francisco Bay Area 2018! has moved from the Finnish Hall in Berkeley to the beautifully restored Old World Historic Masonic Lodge located in lovely Burlingame CA. The City of Burlingame embodies quaint boutique shops, wonderful restaurants, and is conveniently situated just a short drive to the SFO International Airport and nearby hotels. Attendees will enjoy plenty of free parking after 6pm on Fri and Sat and all day Sun next door and directly across the street from the Masonic Lodge.

When : Fri-Sun January 26th, 27th, and 28th, 2018.
What: Five milongas featuring the best of Golden Era Tango, two dinners and four optional pre-encuentro classes taught by Paulo and Eva; Daniel Arias y Laura; Christopher and Caroline; and Jonathan y Olivia (Strictly Gavito).
Where: Burlingame Masonic Lodge No. 400 145 Park Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.
Seating: Traditional seating - Leaders and Followers on opposite sides, couples on the ends.
Visually impaired: We will provide reserved front row seating for any visually impaired dancer who emails us with their request.
Tandas: DJ discretion 3-4 song tandas

DJs: Christopher Nassopoulos from SF; Jonathan Yamauchi from SF; Emilio Flores from Buenos Aires; Vincent Lam from Vancouver; and Vivian Konstantakos from Seattle WA.

REGISTRATION DATES:

August 1, 2017
Advanced Level Milonguero Style Couples Registration opens:
70 passes will be reserved for couples.

September 12, 2017
Single Leader and Single Follower registration opens. We will reserve 20 single leader passes and 20 single follower passes for advanced level milonguero style dancers.

Single follower passes will automatically activate when 20 single leaders have registered.
