Dear Tango friends, we are excited to invite you to the 6th edition of Sofia Tango Festival which will take place at the beginning of June, 1-3 in Sofia, capital of Bulgaria.
This year’s edition will happen in a special new space “In the park”, modern and cozy event hall, situated in the heart of the city with a stunning view of Vitosha mountain.
Bulgarians are famous for their hospitality so you will have the unique opportunity to learn from first hand more about our traditions and history as well as enjoy tango program of 2 great performances, 2 daily milongas, 3 night milongas, international DJs, several workshops and much more countless moments.
Our talented maestros are:
- Carla Rossi & Jose Luis Salvo, Argentine; Vice-champions of the World Tango Championships, 2017; Champions of the Metropolitan Tango and Milonga, 2017;
- Selen Sürek & Alper Ergökmen, Turkey; One of the most prominent artists and teachers from Istanbul, a new generation couple who gives priority to fluidity with dance style, which combines musicality and improvisation.
