Description

Lady’s Tango Festival

Lady´s Tango Festival, the first Tango festival of the world exclusively for the role of the woman or receiver role since 2008. This festival is dedicated to find the possibility to learn, practice, perfect, develop your dance and make it unique and personal! Created to technically develop, to dance and to perfect the role of the receiver and the leader taking into account the importance of both in a unique connection that is Tango dance.

This Festival is in recognition of women, as it is held every year within the month of the International Women’s Day, which is on March 8th in Buenos Aires, this is why the staff of masters is consists of most of the major referents of high level Tango dance.

Lady´s Tango Festival proposes classes of technique, master classes for professionals with different subjects, practical courses with taxi dancers, a program of Milongas with shows and live orchestras, a great Tango parade with the best designers of tango clothing and tributes to different referents and consecrated artists of the Tango dance.

Johana Copes
Festival Director

The original direction and idea is by Johana Copes and in Germany together with Natalia Berascola & Jürgen Schmidt.

The venues of Lady´s Tango Festival are:
