Hamburg Tango Marathon

Dear Tango Lovers:
Have you ever been to Hamburg, the most beautiful city in Germany? We would like to host you here in a perfect time of year!

MI Barrio -
Welcome to the heart of St. Pauli – one of the liveliest and famous districts of Hamburg. Not far away from the harbour where captains, dock workers and globetrotters met.
Matching with that, our authentic tango studio is located in the souterrain of a backyard where you drop into the original charm of tango by going just a few steps down.

We want to share this with you!

Maximum 150 dancers (gender balanced) from all over Europe.
Two floors (one for dancing and one for chilling)
Great wooden floor (oak)
32 hours of dancing and socializing
• pre-milonga and after party milonga
• dj's from several countries with international experience
• passionate tango dancers from all over the world
• 50/50 gender balance
• water, tea, coffee available during whole event
• fresh fruits and snacks during entire marathon (there will be no dinner or breakfast served - as we are located in the center of sternschanze/st. Pauli we prefer you to check out the neighbourhood :))

Friday :
19.30 h: Registration starts
20.00 h – 06.00 h: Let´s embrace - Opening Milonga
Saturday: 14.00 h – 19.00 h: Wake-up Milonga
19.00 h – 21.00 h dinner break: check out restaurants St Pauli/Sternschanze
21.00 h – 06.00 h: Let´s party - Evening Milonga
Sunday: 14.00 h – 20.00 h: Adios Amigos - Farewell Milonga
17.00 h – 20.00 h: Choripan
20.00 h - end: After Party – open for everybody (free entrance for marathon participants, all others € 7,-)
Costs for this experience: Euro 75,- (including water, tea, coffee, cake, fruits, snacks)
Please notice: no box office, no tickets for single milongas
