Pablo Inza and Sofia Saborido in Tromso

We are so excited! The world famous maestros Pablo Inza and Sofia Saborido are coming to Tromsø and Tango Polar for four days!

Program:

TECHNIQUE SEMINAR
->Thursday Aug 31st at 1930-21 and Friday Sept 1st at 1930-21
Deep work on fundamentals that we always need, in a “Take-it-easy” way. Understanding the dancing body (balance and axis in motion), the connection, the embrace, the walk. The linear and the circular movement.

COOL TURNS
-> Saturday Sept 2nd at 1030
Basic and effective rebounds and giros (turns). Playing with the rhythm.

VALS
-> Saturday Sept 2nd at 1300
Understanding the rythm to adapt our dynamics.

SATURDAY NIGHT MILONGA FEAT. PABLO AND SOFIA!

PAUSES AND EMBELLISHMENTS
-> Sunday Sept 3rd at 1130
Upgrade your dance by refining the dialogue within the couple using pauses and adornments. Create space for styling and musicality.

MILONGA
-> Sunday Sept 3rd at 1400
Milonga lisa and traspie. Get the rhythm and practice some cool ideas for the dance floor.

This is what Pablo and Sofia say about the classes:

VISION "In improvisation we trust". About tango, we love the possibility to build the dance through small moments. Even if we use patterns while dancing, we challenge the couple to decide step-by-step what will come next. We believe in the real improvisation.

CLASSES In our classes, the dancers will work on awakening the body awareness and connection in order to develop the physical dialogue within the couple. Our technique work doesn’t only have an aesthetic purpose, it rather helps to find the comfort of the dancers in a relaxed and sensitive embrace. To stimulate the improvisation in your dance, we focus on short and useful situations rather than long sequences.

GOAL We provide students with useful information to help them develop a personal and creative dance, encouraging the diversity that we so much love about tango.

Prizes per person:
Single class: 350 NOK
Seminar (two classes, thursday and friday): 650 NOK
All classes + seminar (six classes in total): 1800 NOK.
Early bird price for all classes + seminar: 1500 NOK when you pay before august 1st.

Level for all classes are intermediate/advanced. You may registrer with partner. The organizers will match single leaders/followers to ensure role balance.
