REGISTRATION INVITATION
Seasoned Encuentro Organizers and Hosts, Jonathan Yamauchi and Olivia Levitt, are honored to have been invited to guest organize and host The Pioneer Encuentro 2018 in collaboration with Mark and Lorraine Christensen, local Salt Lake City residents and tango dancers.
This registration invitation from Jonathan and Olivia to register for the upcoming Pioneer Encuentro Salt Lake City 2018 is extended to skilled tango milonguero style dancers who honor and practice the Codigos of Tango.
The Pioneer Encuentro will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah, August 10-12, 2018 at 'The Clubhouse on South Temple' (Located at 850 E South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah 84102) formerly home to the Ladies Literary Club, a beautifully restored 100+ year old newly remodeled location which features an incredible and spacious fully air conditioned grand ballroom, with stage, mezzanine, lighting, sound system and a beautiful hardwood floor. The Pioneer Encuentro will be encapsulated in the most magnificent location of all Encuentros in the United States to date. Attendees will enjoy five milongas and five stellar seasoned DJs playing the best tango music of the Golden Era. Attendees will also enjoy quality food, beverages, desserts, and an evenly paired balance between skilled milonguero style leaders and followers.
DJs: Vincent Lam (Vancouver BC), Jae Girsham (Durham, North Carolina), Jonathan Yamauchi (San Francisco, CA), Ashvin Iyer (San Francisco, CA), Michelle McRuiz (Albuquerque, NM).
Advance registration is now open to couples and single leaders who are skilled milonguero style dancers and practice the Codigos of Tango. Single followers will be placed on a wait list and will be admitted to register as single leaders register. Single followers who wish to be placed on the wait list should email Jonathan at pioneerencuentro@gmail.com. Single followers are highly encouraged to seek skilled single milonguero style leaders to register with them as a registering couple.
