Sol de Invierno International Tango Meeting – III Edition

III SOL DE INVIERNO International Tango Meeting will take place in NERJA (Málaga) the pearl of the Costa del Sol.
We will dance, to celebrate the change of year and to the music of 4 excellent international tango DJ´s, during 4 days and 4 nights, with a total of 8 milongas (more than 30 hours of dancing). At the same time, participants will enjoy the impressive beauty of Nerja and its wonderful microclimate (average temperature by day about 20ºC, even during full winter). Nerja´s region is also the sunniest region of Europe and it will let us recharge our “batteries”. On this sense, we have organized, also for this year, some free air milongas, under the sun and in front of the sea. It will be for sure a great pleasure to dance, once again, having in front of us the wonderful blue horizon of our Mediterranean!
We will repeat, equally, our special New Year´s milonga and our Gala Dinner on Silvester´s night.
In the same way, we will repeat the very successful visit to the impressive Cave of Nerja (World Heritage by UNESCO).
Will do also our traditional excursion to the “white villages” region, but extending this year the route in order to visit the awesome lake of La Viñuela.
This year our headquarter will be installed in Hotel Al-Andalus, very close to the Restaurante Cueva of Nerja in wich all of our night milongas will take place. We will also offer to our participants some apartments in the same area of Maro (very beautiful typical andalusian little village placed in front of the sea and 3 Km. east from Nerja). Maro has bus stop, placed 200 m. from our hotels, connecting with Nerja city center, Málaga and other cities.
Finally, we will offer some different kind of passes, depending on the number of nights, the type of room, and the optional activities chosen.

15´00 – 16´30: Visit to the Cave of Nerja (World Heritage by UNESCO)

Saturday 31 Dec.
12`30 – 18´30: Excursion to the “White Villages” (Canillas de Aceituno, La Viñuela) with milonga & tapas in front of the lake (Restaurante El Pantano, La Viñuela). Dj: Enrique Berraquero.
20´30: Silvester Night Gala Dinner (Hotel Al-Andalus)
23´00 – 05´00: Special Silvester Night Milonga with champagne, Christmas candies and the spanish traditional 12 grapes (Restaurant of the Cave of Nerja). Dj: Felix Hahme.
Sunday 1 Jan.
12´30 – 15´00: New Year´s Sunlight -free air- Milonga (Square at the entrance of the Cave of Nerja). DJ: Toni Barber.
